- The abstract submission deadline is July 31st, 2021.
- Contributions submitted after July 31st will be considered only for poster presentations.
- Submission of abstracts for VASSCAA-10& CVS 2021 contributions should be made online by using the appropriate template (to be downloaded here). Please follow the rules and guidelines before submitting your abstract.
Abstract should be ONE page A4 including figures and references. It must be submitted as a *.docx file and should be labelled as follows: <lastname_firstname_abstractacronym.docx>
When you submit an abstract, you are needed to provided the following information:
• Family name of the presenting author
• First name of the presenting author
• Email of the presenting author
• Affiliation/Institute of the presenting author
Please carefully check the abstract .docx file before submission because the conference organization will not further edit the abstracts that will appear in the abstract booklet as received. Abstracts longer than one A4 page, incomplete or malformed will not be accepted.
Oral presentations
- The lecture theatre includes an projector, screen, PC and laser pointer.
- Presenters are asked to prepare their presentations to match the time allocated in the programme as these will be strictly enforced by the conference chairs.
- Please bring your presentation on your own laptop computer. Please make sure you have a VGA output. If presenting from a Macintosh, please bring a VGA cable.
- Please test your computer by connecting it to our projector in the meeting room before the session in which you are speaking. The electrical current in China is 220 Volt 50 Hz AC. There are two kinds of sockets widely used in China: type A and type I. If you need an adapter, please bring one with you.
Poster presentations
- Posters will be on display for the duration of the conference with dedicated poster session. Authors are asked to remain next to their posters during one of these sessions to answer questions.
- Please refer to the programme for your poster number.
- Posters can be mounted from 12:00 on Oct. 12 and must be removed by 16:00 on Oct. 14. Any poster not removed at the correct time, will be recycled.
- Poster boards are 2m (high) by 1m (wide) and orientated vertically. Posters should be AO in size (118.9 x 84.1cm/ 46.8 x 33.1 inches), in a portrait format. Posters must be prepared in advance of the conference as it will not be possible to print them on-site. Fixing material will be supplied to mount your poster.
